Try the following
- Close the game
- Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
- Repair the game
- Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry
- Start a new save game
- Check if you still have the error
- Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.

@MmMeeeeoooowWwW4 On steam you need to do it on Steam. It's called verify games there.
Right click on the game, choose Properties --> Installed Files and click on Verify the integrity of game files
- 1 year ago@crinrict bad news. steam told me none of my files were corrupted and the game still plays the same :C btw additional info: i dont have a save on my game and every time ive redownloaded it the game remains the save so i dont think its the game itself that has the issue but idk what does lol XP

As said above, after renaming you will need to start a new save game. Your saves are still in the old folder.- 1 year ago@crinrict i cant create a save because my screen freezes when i open the game
