@crinrict bad news. steam told me none of my files were corrupted and the game still plays the same :C btw additional info: i dont have a save on my game and every time ive redownloaded it the game remains the save so i dont think its the game itself that has the issue but idk what does lol XP

As said above, after renaming you will need to start a new save game. Your saves are still in the old folder.

Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?
- Press Windows-Key + R
- Type: DxDiag
- Click on Save all Information.
- Attach the Text File to your post
