Game Crashes and freezes in build mode.

About an hour after installing the new royalty bundle, my game crashes about 1 minute into every startup while I'm in build mode. Objects are interactable but don't properly move; Sims freeze in place even when fast-forwarding through time, and the game cannot be saved. I first noticed the issue when the plot I had just purchased in my previous session in Ondarion was now registered as a community plot and needed to be repurchased.

 Cheats off

 Running on DX11

 Updated computer + graphics card

 over 100GB of memory available

Things I've tried:

 repairing game in EA

 uninstalling and reinstalling

 deleting cache files

 playing in offline mode
