Game Crashes to desk top, for no identifiable reason.

My game crashes to desk top often -- l rarely can play for more than 30 minutes without a crash.  I have uninstalled, reinstalled, repaired, .... multiple times.

I currently have no CC -- though its absence has not made a difference.

My video card is not supported, (Nvidia RTX 4080 Super), but my reading on subject has indicated that should not be a problem.  The graphics  look fine when I am in game.  I use up to date windows 11.  All drivers are up to date.

The GPU device ID not being in the game's database is not an issue, as you've read.

And if you've overclocked your GPU, revert to stock speeds.  A factory overclock is fine; I'm talking about changes you've made yourself, either manually or with an overclocking tool.

Please also look for a BIOS update for your motherboard, which fixes some of the crashes on this classs of CPU.  Your current version is 1601.  Google "[board model] drivers" and look for the Asus support page for your board.  If you don't know what model you have, it should be printed on the board itself, among other locations.
