I just redownloaded the Sims on my new laptop, but it wont let me get passed the loading screen before it crashes. I updated my drives and repaired the game still nothing. Any help?

for an update, I updated my drivers, did all the crazy work with NVIDIA, moved the sims 4 file out of EA, uninstalled and cleared cache, ran as another profile, made gaming profile, still nothing.
gunkylol Sorry for the late reply; I haven't been around the forums for a couple weeks. When you say you "ran as another profile," do you mean you created a new Windows account, or something else? And you moved the Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts?
Please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
Yes, I created a new windows account and moved the folder.
gunkylol The Sims 4 crashes in your dxdiag look like the current issue on high-end Intel processors that the motherboard may overclock by default. Sometimes a BIOS update helps, and there's one available for what I believe is your board:
https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B760-DS3H-AC-DDR4-rev-1x/support#support-dl-bios
Please double-check the model number before trying to install the newest BIOS.
If that doesn't help, boot into BIOS and disable CPU Turbo Boost, which will be somewhere under Advanced settings.
