Game Crashing After New Update (APRIL 16, 2026) PC Issues

Between March's update and the newest update on April 16, 2026 I have had nothing but issues with this game. I have over 14 thousand hours clocked into it. I've been playing with mods for 6+ years and have never had so many issues as there have been the last month or so. 
1. I COMPLETELY had to wipe my entire game files after March's update, over 100 saves gone. Nothing I did would fix it and the game was entirely corrupt. 
2. Cut to April, I re-installed the entire game and DLC I have, re-installed mods without issue and played fine for weeks with only gallery upload issues, requiring me to try and upload multiple times due to timing out issues. Minor problem, game is completely still playable. 
3. April 16, new update is released. I exit the game (NO ISSUES, EVERYTHING WORKING), remove mods folder contents, clear caches and update. (check for mods that need to be updated during game update and update those as well before putting them back into mods folder and loading game)
Try to enter game and reload into previous save, stuck on loading screen for 20 minutes. Force close the game. Remove mods again, and reload the game. Stuck in loading screen 20 minutes. Force close again. Restart the game and this time try to make back up of previous game, will not back up. 
Try and start a new save, make sim, try to save to keep playing, stuck on CAS screen with only option to stay in CAS or exit to main screen. 
Exit game completely. Go into game files and clear everything again. Repaired the game from the EA app, relaunched and attempted to make a new sim, got stuck in CAS again. 
Exit game, and repair game from EA App again, relauch, sim issue. 
Deleted game files entirely and un-insalled game. 
Re-installed game AGAIN, new files, no mods, crashes on start up, game entirely corrupt now even after beeing repaired another 3 times. 
At this point, I'm just going to keep the game deleted because I'm sick of fighitng with it. Waste of money and effort for something that just isn't enjoyable. 
I've loved this game for over 20 years, this is just disappointing to say the least.
