game crashing and pie menu lag
@applepiedreams The Sims 4 crashes in your dxdiag are from the DirectX 11 version, so either you didn't successfully switch back to DX9 or the game closed for a reason that doesn't generate a Windows error report. Please check the version in the lower-right corner of the Main Menu: you should see DX9 after the game version number (1.107.151.1020). If you're still running DX11, switch back to DX9.
If that's not the issue, please try again to play, wait until the game crashes, and look for new errors in the Reliability Monitor. Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day. Today is on the right.
Look for an error that happened at exactly the time of your most recent attempt to play Sims 4. If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here. If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.
