game crashing with gameplay

@kelz_Rayne  If you haven't specifically, please try playing in a clean user folder.  Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see whether it crashes.

If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

I am currently playing a brand new installation. 
I uninstalled yesterday hoping it would fix the issue. i have not installed any mods or cc. 

although when i go into the EA app its still showing as 5000+ hrs played (which im guessing is part of the EA app and not necessarilly the Sims)

@kelz_Rayne  The Sims 4 user folder is separate from the program files, which is why I asked if you'd moved it.  Uninstalling the game itself wouldn't touch the user folder.

At any rate, your dxdiag doesn't list any Windows error reports at all, which means I have nothing to go on.  Do you use some kind of cleaner app to delete temp files?  If so, please disable or remove it while we're troubleshooting here.  Some of these files could be very useful to the process.

For now, please try again to play Sims 4, and if it crashes, look for a corresponding error in the Reliability Monitor.  Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day.  Today is on the right.

Look for an error that happened at exactly the time of your most recent Sims 4 crash.  If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here.  If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.

EDIT: i usually run Dx 12, it was changed to 9 based on other suggestions. I have errors for both 12 and 9

@kelz_Rayne  Try disabling XMP and CPU Turbo Boost, both in your computer's BIOS.  The latter may be called something slightly different and would be buried somewhere under Advanced Settings.  XMP should be simple to find.

The issue here is that some performance-level motherboards apply a default overclock that's a bit unstable, particularly in Sims 4.  If disabling these helps, a BIOS update might fix the issue—stability-related updates have been rolling out for a couple months now.  But I don't know whether your specific board has received such an update, and it's not definitive that this is your problem in the first place, so changing the BIOS settings is the better first step.

@kelz_Rayne  Please try playing in DirectX 11 mode instead.  DX9 mode should be fine in theory, but it's easy enough to switch back.

If you get another crash, please post the new Reliability Monitor info.

@kelz_Rayne  I've merged your new post with your old thread and also (yesterday) removed the solution since you're still having the issue.  Sometimes the CM will mark threads as solved when a player doesn't come back for a while, but it's always fine to remove the solution or request that it be done on your behalf, either in a post or by clicking the Report button.

At any rate, your new error points to the Nvidia graphics driver, so please do a clean uninstall and reinstall of the driver, as described here:
