Game Crashing

I have NEVER had this issue! Since the most recent update, my game is crashing left and right. What is going on? It's like back to the old days of saving every five minutes because you don't know when the game will crash. I haven't had this issue in years. My computer is awesome. Great specs, plenty of space. Please fix this! Playing is very frustrating and this was supposed to be my break time from work and mom life.

I don't know how to edit. This is my Dx Diag... Also, I only have the SNB mod. No other mods in the game. I did a repair after my original post. Went back into the game, build mode, tried to resume my build (room at the edge of the pond to make dock). I got as far as placing a diagonal room. Couldn't make it larger, smaller, couldn't raise the foundation. I could move other objects around in the house but couldn't adjust the room. I went to save and that is where it stuck. I had to use task manager to close it. This is very frustrating. I saw a solution on someone else's post. He said he went into system....great, but what are we talking? Computer settings, game settings?

Game played well for awhile until just now. I had my sim travel to another lot, and when she returned home I went into build mode. Was able to perform one placement, just like before, then unable to do nothing. Closed the game and it froze on 'saving'. Just removed the mods folder. Will see how it plays with that change.

  • Mine is doing the same thing, after the most recent update which included the quest. I have never had this problem before. Just completely closes out of the game randomly. When I try to travel, when I’m trying to save. I’m too scared to try building anything.
I’m not very tech savvy, playing on PC with no mods or anything. Was definitely not happening before this update.

  • jellybeanblack12  Then I'd like to see a dxdiag from your computer.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

Dianna124  Let me know if you need further help.
