Since the update on April 16 my game was letting me load in until Saturday. Since Saturday I have tried everything to fix it and whenever I hit resume playing it loads until it just kicks me out never let's me play. I don't understand the point in updates if they just ruin the game.
SNS0516 Can you load a different household within this save? (Use Load Game rather than Resume.) What about a new save? Please test both and let me know.
If the issue is only the one save, or the one household within the save, please provide a lastexception. Open Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and delete any existing lastexception files you see. Try again to load the affected household, and when it doesn't work, look for a new LE. If you find one, open it (Notepad is fine), copy the text, and paste it into a reply here.
If you can't start a new save either, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs, that is if you can get that far.
