karwoooo Is it the power cord, or the power to the monitor, or the connection between the monitor and PC? I realize it's not easy to tell, but if you have a spare DisplayPort or HDMI cable, or can borrow one (even from a TV), it would be a useful test.
If the connection between the monitor and PC isn't the issue, try plugging the power cables into a different surge protector or power strip that's not running anything else. If that doesn't help, try using a different wall outlet.
I realized it was actually the HDMI connection between the monitor and the PC. I've taped the cord to the monitor stand as a quick fix and it seems to avoid too much movement. I've tried with another cord but it still is a bit loose, so seems like the HDMI port is moving around. Sadly I think it might be a bit of a lemon. But still don't get why the game is that effected by it.
