Game Freezes/Crashes in Live Mode

My Sims 4 game has started freezing briefly and then crashing straight to desktop with no error message. This began before the latest update and is still happening after updating. I play on PC via the EA App with no mods or custom content. The crashes happen in Live Mode, and I’ve already repaired the game and cleared the cache with no change. There's no clear trigger. Has anyone else experienced this or found a fix?

System details: Windows 11, EA App up to date, issue occurs across multiple saves and fresh sessions, no mods/custom content.

    It's a relief to know that I'm not only one who experienced this recently. I play on a laptop (Windows 10) via Steam, and use mods/custom content. In my case, it also effected Firefox for some reason. On a side note, I've repaired the game prior to the June 30 update mostly due to a different glitch.

    I am currently have the same issue. My sims just freeze and wont perform their actions and after a long time will do them. I have restarted the game several times.

    Here's my laptop's DxDiag as per requested.

    I've since found out that one of the mods I'm using became obsolete after the June 30th update. After removing it from the Mods folder, the game is behaving better.
