Rucklia Let's get the game stable without GShade first, and then you can add it back and test again. GShade does cause problems from time to time even when it's supposed to be compatible.
There are alternatives though, including GShade options for DX11, and ReShade as well.

I’ve been testing with a new save on DirectX 11, outside of Innisgreen, for the current rewards event. There were no issues, the game ran fine. Then I played a bit with my save in Innisgreen, which stayed stable too, although I didn’t play for very long. When I switched back to DirectX 9 with GShade, the game crashed again.
So I decided to keep playing without shaders and with DirectX 11, but the game still closed unexpectedly. I really don’t understand what’s happening, but as I mentioned before, this only started after the last update and only affects my Innisgreen save.
Next I’ll try playing with GShade and DirectX 11 on a new save, without the MXAO options (which are the main reason I use GShade). I’ll share the results of this test by tomorrow at the latest. I apologize for the delay in responding — between work and family I’ve had very little time to play.

puzzlezaddict I want to give an update on what I’ve tried so far:
I uninstalled The Sims 4 completely.
I used DDU to fully remove my graphics drivers, then reinstalled the latest Nvidia driver.
After that, I reinstalled The Sims 4.
I tested the game first on DirectX 11, without GShade or mods.
I also made sure the game is set to always run with my dedicated Nvidia GPU (RTX 4060 Laptop), so it’s not using the integrated Intel graphics.
Despite all of this, I still get crashes (APPCRASH, c0000005) in TS4_x64.exe. This only started happening after the latest update, and I can reproduce it in my Innisgreen save even without mods or shaders installed.
At this point, it doesn’t look like the issue is with my drivers or system, but rather with the game itself after the patch. I’ll continue testing, but I wanted to report these results in case it helps narrow down the cause.

puzzlezaddict In my most recent test, here’s what happened in-game:
I entered build/buy mode to sell a few items and paint some walls (I’m slowly building my Sims’ house).
My Sims harvested all the plants in their greenhouse and tended to them.
They attended their university classes.
They collected the mail.
A few seconds later, while eating some harvested crops from their inventory, the game crashed.
