Game is just unplayable

After the last upgrade, I haven't been able to play the game because every action, button and thought of my sims just appear double. Used the EA app to try to restore the game but nothing changed

    Hi
I never used mods or cc. Just the game and some expansion packs.

The game doesn't actually crash. It just stays frozen (while the time in game still passes)

    • Close the game
    • Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
    • Repair the game
    • Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry.
    • Start a new save game
    • Check if you still have the error
    • Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.

Before doing these steps, I tried to open an old save game. I had the same error but it wasn't as frequent as on a new save. For a a minute, I would be able to see the game and then things would start appearing double again.

I also tested Create a Sim and it worked fine, no doubles or lag.

Performed the steps you mentioned, and when first opening the game I got a popup saying that my video card was not compatible with the game (never had this before) and still got the error.

    This are the system config:
