Game keeps crashing after seconds of it loading.

I'm reporting because I'm extremely frustrated. For 3 days now, I have tried to fix my game that keeps crashing. I haven't had mods on my game since the last big update and i don't use cc, so that's not the issue. I have used every type of setting, file deletion, and trick on youtube and google, including uninstalling and reinstalling, but it still crashes within seconds, sometimes minutes. My partner, who is a software developer, has gone through every possible software and hardware component on my computer to make sure everything is up to date and compatible. I have a gaming laptop for this one singular game for sanity's sake! There is no conceivable reason, at least from my end, why this is happening, so the only conclusion i can come up with is the game itself is the problem. I know an update drops tomorrow. Please fix whatever is happening.

    6a6134033e3264c4​ HannahKimberley​  If you haven't already, please try playing in a clean user folder.  Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop.  When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs.

    If that doesn't or didn't help, please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

    6a6134033e3264c4​  I understand your partner is enough of a computer expert to have ruled out most system issues, but even an investigation of a game-side issue needs more info, like a dxdiag for example.

    I’ve been having the same issue for the past couple of days. My game is running for a minute or two before freezing and crashing.
