game keeps crashing when raising or lowering platforms/height in build mode

My game keeps crashing immediately when doing the above. have tried and tested without CC and have also verified the integrity of the files on steam. Deleted localthumbnailcache etc.  I have tried a ...

Answering my own question, I followed the steps to ensure the game uses NVIDIA rather than system GPU and voila all is now okay
