Neutral/Not Sure I have uninstalled and reinstalled both the game and the app. Removed mods and saves. I did get in one time with a fresh game folder, but adding a save crashes it again. Updated graphics drivers.

I don't know. I can't get in to see either. Now I'm getting this error. Have removed all mods and still crashing. Tried repair and the app crashed.. Edit:: Removed the Sims 4 folder, started a new folder. Can play that with no issue. Curse Forge isn't finding the game now so I'm going to try a reinstall of that.

@seaspiritnw This is usually a left over plate from custom foodTry deleting the plate in build mode. You should be able to enter the game in build mode from the map.

If I try with the saves I had it still crashes, and I don't use cc foods except canned items or coffee bags. I removed all the mods/ cc, still crashes with the old saves. I reinstalled everything and cruse forge still doesn't see the game either. The only way I have been able to get in so far is a totally new game. I had errands to do so now I'm going to try adding saves one at a time to see if that may work. If not I'm at a loss.

@seaspiritnw Does it crash as in close to the desktop or just that error code ?

I don't know. I can't get in to see either. Now I'm getting this error. Have removed all mods and still crashing. Tried repair and the app crashed.. Try deleting the plate in build mode. You should be able to enter the game in build mode from the map.

It was crashing to the EA app but I think I found the cause. It apparently was a house from the gallery. I started adding saves 1 by 1 and got to the last one I had played. There was a house that I had just downloaded right before this started and it had some items I have not seen before...I thought maybe that could be it. I deleted it and so far I have been able to go back in....fingers crossed that once I add my cc back all is well..lol. Thank you so much for that hint as I would not have thought of that! You really did save my sanity and it seems my game as well!
Edited....well it's back. I was able to play about an hour, had stuff to do. Saved and when I cam back just now that house is back and it's crashing again...and now my library has disappeared. I'm not a happy camper..

No at least I don't think I am using one drive. I did save after I removed the house as I wanted to be sure. I tried again to remove and add saves back in and it will play other households in the same world just not that household. Also all the homes I had in my library including my own builds are gone from it except original maxis homes. They are showing in the world itself but not the library. I also noticed I cannot search my items in build buy. Refuses to type anything. Also weird...I can type in Curse Forge but it won't search.

@seaspiritnw That does sound a bit like a oneDrive issue. The game like to switch over to that. Open the explorer and click on oneDrive to see if there's a Sims folder in there
