purityunheeded The location of your user folder, with saves and other user data, is separate from and independent of the location of the game's program files. So the fact that the EA App knows Sims 4 is installed to your E drive has nothing to do with where the game will look for your saves.
Please review this guide to storing user data in a custom location, the parts about user files in particular:

And make sure you've done all the steps correctly, and that your files are exactly where the game is now looking for them.
