The latest origin launcher update...It did something somewhere in the program doesnt see that I already have sims 4 on HD, insisting that I have redownload the entire game DESPITE it clearly being present.
I have a very slow inet download speed by the way. 1mb/s is bad [building wiring issue].
I played sims 4 last month without issue, it worked absolutely fine.
I'm just upset that the launcher wants me to download the game again when it is already installed [but launcher isnt seeing it as such]. There should be an easier way to do this that doesnt involve spending 2 days redownloading the game.
So, its more of a weird pathing issue that happened on my end... Somehow the path for the game drive letter changed and not sure how that happened. Anyway, someone can delete this post/thread, because I cant.. Or at least mark it as resolved. Thanks.
