So i downloaded Sims 4 today through steam and my steam account is linked to this EA account, however when opening the game it opens the Ea App and then proceeds to say that i dont have access to this game and that it may be linked to another account. I've cleared the cache and ive only ever had my steam account linked to one Ea Account.
A fix for this would be appreciated
Mindbenderrr Please uninstall the EA App with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine). Use the Advanced scanning method when asked. Reboot your computer, download a fresh copy of the App installer, and run it as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator." Run the App itself as an admin too once it's installed.
If that doesn't help, please let me know what country you're in, and mention the fact that you bought the Legacy Edition here, for reference. Please also post your EA App error report ID here, so it's attached to this thread.
Unfortunately after trying these steps im still getting the same error.
Just for clarification, ive never owned Sims 4 before. Only downloaded it when bought with the Sims 1 and 2 Legacy Edition.
