Game Won't Launch in Steam Offline Mode After Update
After the most recent update, launching the game through Steam in offline mode fails to authenticate. I am logged into the EA app and checked the "Keep me signed in" option when logging in. The EA app icon is present in the system tray before launching.
When I click play in Steam while it's offline, the attached image displays, the EA icon disappears from the system tray, and I get logged out of the EA app. When I click "Exit" in the popup, the EA app closes altogether.
If instead of clicking "Exit" I instead switch to the EA app and log in again, the progress bar on the popup advances slightly and the text changes to "Verifying entitlements..."
Repeated attempts to log in to the EA app have no further effect.

Thankfully, this doesn't seem to be an every update issue as I feared it might be. Given you at least updated to the September 22 patch, playing offline should work for now. I was just able to launch the game offline without updating to the latest patch, and it authenticated fine.
