game wont load.

I've been having this issue for about a week now and I don't know what to do to fix it. I launch my game through the EA app, and it gets to the first screen just fine, but as soon as I hit resume game it will not load. I've tried everything I can possibly think of; I've unplugged my computer, repaired the game, uninstalled and reinstalled, I've restarted my computer, cleared the cache, I've removed my mods and cc and tried it but still nothing, I've tried just letting the game load for a few hours to see if it just needs time and still nothing. I'm at a complete loss, does anyone have any tips or help? please and thank you.

    Smmzappelli  Can you load a different household in this save?  Use Load Game rather than Resume, and choose a household you've never played before.  If that doesn't work, try loading a new save.

    If you can't start a new save either, please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

    If the new save works, open Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and delete any lastexception files you find.  Try again to load your main household in your main save, and see whether you get another LE.  If you do, open the file, delete the first line of text, and attach it to a reply here, as described above.

    hi! thank you so much! I loaded a different household and was able it was able to load up.

    Smmzappelli  Okay, can you play that other household for a few sim-hours, then switch back to your main one?  If the main one still doesn't load, I'd still like to see a lastexception file, as described above.  But it needs to be current, and generated with no mods or cc, so delete any you already have.
