emsutton99 Thanks for the dxdiag, which lists two different kinds of Sims 4 errors. The breakpoint errors have a few causes, one of which is an issue with the graphics driver. Since your currently installed driver is from August, it's worth installing a new one instead. You can get it here:

Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator." Choose the Custom (not Express) install method, and check the box to perform a clean install. Restart afterwards and before trying to play.
If that doesn't help, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs, that is if you can get that far.
