tatalola If you're installing a BIOS version for exactly your motherboard, the only risk in updating is that you lose power in the middle of the process, which could in fact brick the motherboard. (Don't disconnect the USB during the process either, of course.) This particular BIOS version has been available long enough that if it had a potentially-computer-killing issue, someone would have found out by now and pulled it from the download page.
