Good laptops for Sims 4?

Hi,

I am looking into getting a new laptop to use for both light work from home tasks that mainly use the internet and microsoft office but I also want to be able to play Sims 4 on it. Sims would be the only game I play since I'm not big on gaming other than that, so will I need an actual 'gaming' laptop for it or will a different, less expensive laptop do the trick as well? My budget is anywhere from $500-800 if that's even possible. I'm not tech-savvy I literally just want a laptop that I can use for work and occasional sims 4 play.

I have 2 listed that caught my eye and I saw on various other sites but again, I'm not sure if I would be getting what I'm looking for.

I found an HP Pavillion that's on sale for $639 with the following specs:

Windows 10 Home 64

Intel® Core™ i5 9300H (2.4 GHz, up to 4.1 GHz, 8 MB cache, 4 cores) + NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050 (3 GB GDDR5)

Memory 8GB

I also found this Acer but it's not technically a gaming laptop: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Z1165XY?tag=httpswww.geeksip.com-20&linkCode=osi&th=1

Processor :3.7 GHz Ryzen 5 3600
RAM 8 GB DDR4
Hard Drive: 256 GB Flash Memory Solid State
Graphics Coprocessor: AMD Radeon Vega 8
Chipset Brand: AMD
Card Description: Integrated
Graphics Card Ram Size: 2 MB

Any other recommendations/tips are welcome, thanks in advance!

Oh i agree. My 1660 Ti Max Q is lesser than the regular 1660 Ti only because it runs 20 less degrees. But i was saying Hp you can get an i5 9300H with the 1050 cheap. With a backlit keyboard for 700$. Dell are way too expensive man. Tech changes every day.  Acer and HP are the only ones i see with great reviews both being under $800. Luckily for The Sims 4. It isnt like red dead redemption 2 or skyrim or Forza 4 Horizon.. It isn't as demanding. Im looking for the sims 5 pushing the bar for graphics. I ran The Sims 3 with all 18 expansions... on a laptop. Some toshibia P series with aluminum case and it didnt get hot at all. It had an i7 with ddr3 ram and some graphic card i can't remember but ran on Ultra settings for hours. Didnt lag at all. Also fual fans on the cpu/gpu with pipes is the in thing now. HP, Dell, MSI, Lenovo all them have it. So the HP 15 inch is a great gaming laptop 😛 very big vents on the back. Very impressive for 700
