Got my sim to have take a brisk shower to get him energized it work but...

I got Steve to take a brisk shower a few hours before work to get him energised it worked great but just as the count down to zero suddenly his statues suddenly changed to tense oh no how could that ...

The moodlets wear off. I think the shower ones last 4 hours. So if you took the shower couple hours before work, it will wear off after two into the job.

They also have a weight so if the tense one had the higher weight, that's the one that takes over.

But yes, Sims can be moody sometimes.
