I need help with a LastCrash file.

I was playing completely fine last night, no issues. Went to play just a moment ago and now I'm suddenly getting a Last Crash file.

I do use mods so I'm likely going to try and see if it still happens with my mods folder out of my game folder. I just wanna know what caused this crash today. Is it the same issues that are happening on Steam and with other game servers?

  • UndeadRozu  You would need to copy the text of the lastcrash and paste it into your post, or else open the file and delete its first line.  This site flags that first line as code and blocks the upload.

But the lastcrash isn't going to be helpful here, at least not to the people who post on the forums.  Instead, please test with your Mods folder removed, and if you still get a crash, let me know what context it happens in: which lot in which world, human sims or occults, and are they doing anything specific at the time?

I'd also like to see a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

I just checked with my folder out and it doesn't crash. I now know I gotta 50/50 something in my folder but here's the dxdiag!

  • UndeadRozu  I don't see anything alarming in your dxdiag, just some Sims 4 crashes that could definitely be mod-related.  But let me know if you get more crashing without mods or cc.
