Growing Together not downloading

Growing together is going to be the death of me, I just recently got a new laptop so I've been downloading sims so I will always be able to play instead of only playing when I'm on my pc, however I noticed today I was missing some things from growing together. When I checked I realized growing together hadn't downloaded. No problems I'll just download it now. Except it wont let me download it. I am instead stuck in this hell of it prompting the download, preparing, then immediately failing once it's prepared. I've tried everything short of uninstalling all of the sims 4 because frankly I don't want to have to wait 10 hours to redownload everything just because of one pack. Any help is much appreciated.
