so my game wouldnt start today,
i removed my sims 4 folder it still wouldnt start
repaired game, no start
uninstalled through steam but i noticed it only removed around 40gb (my backup is more like 70)
reinstalled through ea app since it believed it was uninstalled
so now its installed again and half my packs are gone when i look in CAS
i think for me anyway when i first uninstalled through steam it only uninstalled what i bought from there and ea app considered it uninstalled so it didnt bother checking files.
that seems to have fixed it. but concerned why it wouldnt uninstall properly. is it a lack of direct connection of pack etc ownership between EA and Steam?
i used revo uninstaller and now testing reinstalling through steam where ive bought most
