Hearing Sims from everywhere

I've been having this bug where i can hear sims very loudly but they aren't anywhere near the area I'm currently in. For example: i will have the game on pause and then all of a sudden out of nowhere i am hearing sims yelling like they are right on top of me and very very loud Or, even when my sims are interacting right in front of me out of nowhere i get the voice of another sim nowhere to be found blasted into my ear.
