@JadeClarity You could uninstall the Origin version before installing the Steam version. As long as you make a backup copy of the Sims 4 folder in Documents\Electronic Arts—this is the folder that holds your saves and other user data—you shouldn't lose any progress.

I have still been trying to reach EA help but their chat box does not ever open for me even though I do not have popups blocked. I talked to steam too but they always refuse to talk about origin things or ea things even though it does have to do with them too.
I just want to enjoy the steam community.
