Help! My entire game of Sims 4 is gone after update

I went to play Sims 4 yesterday, the game had to update, I updated it and when I went to play, my entire progress was lost. It was as if I'd never played before, despite having played for close to fo...

So the saves folder is empty? Please check recycle bin to see if something is there.

Also do a search for the Sims 4 to see if there is such a folder elsewhere on your drive.

In that case I can't help any more. It is impossible to say what might have happened as we have ruled out known causes. Unless you have a backup elsewhere you will need to start over.
