Game running like garbage.

I don't know if anyone else has been having this issue lately, but since the new update my game has been running so slowly (sims moving slowly, really long loading screens). I've lowered the graphics and restarted, it same issue it only seemed to solve itself once i set the processors to the EA app to "0" and set Sims 4 to "all". 

The affinity trick is fine for now but i don't want to have to keep doing this each time i open the game. I've made sure my drivers are up to date I've linked my diag report just in case.

    jazza_jaxx14​  Does the game work properly if you only set the EA App affinity?  Sims 4 should be able to use whatever combination of CPU cores are appropriate without your needing to do anything special.

    I'm also curious whether it helps to play with the EA App in offline mode.  Please test this with no affinity set for it or for Sims 4.  Offline mode would cut off your access to the Gallery, but the game would otherwise run as normal.

    There's nothing in your dxdiag that explains the issue, so I'm more inclined to believe it's the EA App being annoying, maybe combined with some system settings that aren't a problem by themselves but that the App doesn't handle well.

    I'm also experiencing this from the most recent update. I saw some older bug reports from one year ago with the exact same issues I'm seeing.

    I removed my mods folder and created a fresh save - still had the choppy camera and lag in panning in and out. 

    Panning Camera Stutters
    Lag for menu to show up when clicking on objects
    Lag for menu to show up when clicking on Sims
    Micro stutters despite stable FPS
