Help! My Save Files won't Load. Showing up as Slot File in game.

So my laptop recently crashed and I had to bring my computer to Best Buy to try and recover what they could. When I got my laptop back i re-downloaded Sims and tried to copy and paste over what save ...

@Climber_Girl_ These saves may well be corrupted, unfortunately. You can try loading backup versions though:

https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2014/09/recover-backup-save-game/

Please also let me know whether you can load any of these, the main saves or the backups. If you can get to Manage Worlds, you may be able to salvage some of your work.
