Previous saves have been deleted after update

Hey, I've just updated my sims where i potentially missed the last two. I was expecting some issues with my mods as it was mentioned at the time but so far the only issue i've had is that all of my previous saves have been deleted and im not entirely sure what to do? 

Has anyone had a similar issue and have been able to fix it? Im no good with the files so not sure what half of it means, whether they are still there or not but i have no clue.
