Holidays and events not occurring/disappearing from calendar on the day

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.51.77.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Cats and Dogs, Seasons, Movie Stuff, Laundry Stuff
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Unsure, I've updated and repaired the game but it didn't help
What happens when the bug occurs? Holidays whether custom or set by game appear in calendar but on the day they never occur and the calendar clears the event. I've played 3 seasons and it occurs every time.
What do you expect to see? An event or holiday on the calendar occur on the day it's set.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

    If so, please zip your saves folder and upload it somewhere like dropbox,, googledrive or OneDrive and PM me the link.

    I have exactly the same problem. I tried everything suggested above. 

    Weather and events work in the new save file, but not in the one I created before I purchased Seasons. 

    I play on Mac and also repaired the game in Origins. 

    I have no Mods or custom content. 

    Any help is highly appreciated 🙂
