Households changing without my knowledge

Every time I change active households, and return to the original household again, something has changed! This has only started happening to me recently. I began playing another family, and when I returned to my previous one, he was not the leader of his club anymore, in fact he was kicked out. The second time, I went back to a family, only HALF of the changes i made in build mode saved!! And it didnt save the outfits for the sims in the family! The THIRD time, I just switched back to my main family again, and my guys tattoos were different. What the heck is happening?

    that sounds rather strange

    are you using any mods/cc ?

    Do you have enough space left on your hard drive

    Do you have just one save game or maybe used save as at one point ?

    I don't use any mods, although I know our hard drive is getting close to full. We have an external hard drive, but I don't think I can install origin or Sims 4 on that right? I did not use "save as". I just click save and start playing a different household from the map. Thoughts?

    I wouldn't advise on installing on an external drive.

    How much disc space do you have left ?
