@Simply-Sam1 Sorry that no one replied to you sooner. Do you still need help with this? If so, please clear Origin's cache:

restart your computer, and then repair the game in Origin: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair. Then try to load a backup save and let me know what happens.
