I have a gay couple who would love to have a baby to make their family complete. In previous versions of Sims they could become pregnant, but the option doesn't seem to be in Sims 4. They would prefer to give birth rather than adopt.

Mods are third party content you add to your game that change the game play.
That is only possible with a mod (and was in Sims 3 too also only possible with a mod unless there was aliens involved)
