@babysquare Actually when the 17-10875H is stress tested 95C to 99C when the cpu is operating at 4GHz. This cpu will drop the cpu clock if the chip gets too hot and at 3.6GHz you should see a temp of about 80C to 86C. With these figures in mind I would say the cpu is right on par. You could decrease the voltage to the cpu but I don't know how that would affect the performance. Although changing values is getting harder and harder especially in laptops. I got this from a post in Tom's hardware. You didn't post the make and model of your laptop so I'm going by cpu specs. HTH
