How do I change The Sims 4 language to French?
The only language available is en_US but I would rather play in French.

this really depends on where you bought the game. Some versions are one language only.
If you can't change the language this way: http://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/08/choose-the-language/ I would contact a game advisor, if they can help you get a multi-language version

Thanks for replying. My copy does appear to be one language only.
btw would the methods detailed in Youtube videos work? I'm a bit wary of trying them.
