Do you have any mods or CC (custom content)? Try taking that out.

It didn't work. Anything else?

Could you try renaming your The Sims 4 folder in Documents? This will give you a clean game, see how that goes.

It gave me a clean game, but the problem is I cannot open my saves. My saves folder says I still have them, but the game says I don't.

I fixed it! I simply moved the saves folder to my new Sims 4 folder. Thanks for trying to help! It gave me the idea ^^

After I got my saves back, I couldn't launch it with CC. Is there a way to play Sims without Origin?

It sounds like the issue is with your CC, the next step was moving over files indeed!
Test your CC, move out a half, test the game and keep splitting until you find everything that is causing issues. Either update those or delete them.
Seems like your CC isn't fully compatible with the latest update of The Sims 4.
