Close The Sims 4 if it's running. Open the EA app and go to Library. Find The Sims 4 in the main panel and click on the three dots in the top right corner. This should open a small menu with Repair as one of the choices. Good luck.

It's easier than that. Close your game open up the EA App. On the left side of the screen, you'll see your Sims 4 game. Click on that icon and on the page, it takes you to click on Manage. From there, click on repair. Then let it do its thing until it says complete.

I'm so stressed out at this point. This is my favorite game and I can't play it. I've tried eveything. When I go to the EA app on windows, manage it goes to manage add-ons only and no reset or anything. Then when I try on steam, it's the same issue practically. Please help!!

EA wouldn't give me a repair option on their Sims 4 game that I have in my library so I have to redownload it that's the only option I got with this new update 2025. Ugh

Open the EA App. On the left side of the page, you should see the icon of your Sims 4 game. Simply click on that, then click on the one that shows up on the next page. Select Repair on the drop-down menu. Best of luck.
