How to fix a white outline around my sims 4 main menu and on loading screen

There is a white outline around the full sims 4 menu screen and also in the corner of the loading screen I have done a lot of things to fix it just won’t go away I have tried without mods and cc and ...

@gamerluke47  I'm really not sure what's going on here, to be honest.  Do you have access to a standalone monitor where you could test the game?  Even a TV would do in a pinch; just grab the HDMI cable and plug it into your laptop.
