Hi! I’ve seen a thread about this already, but I’m still having issues after the bunk beds update with trying to place anything in build mode. I removed my mods, deleted the localthumbcache, and repaired the game and still nothing. I believe it may be my mods, but I don’t know how to fix them. I’ve tried to batch fix with S4S, but still nothing.
@QueenCoCo77 Does the problem happen when you remove your mods and don't put them back? If not, then you need to permanently remove whichever mod or mods are causing the issue. The first suspect is Better Build Buy, but there are other causes as well.
I don’t have Better Build 🥺 how do I know which mod is messing with my game? I’m kinda new to all the mods and cc stuff lol
@QueenCoCo77 Try removing any other mods you have from TwistedMexi. If that doesn't help, remove your entire Mods folder, delete localthumbcache.package, and test. If it works now, you can use the 50/50 method to sort through your mods.

If removing your mods doesn't help, try repairing the game in Origin: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.
