I cannot place objects in Build/Buy

After the newest bunk bed update, when I enabled mods again, I couldn't place objects in build mode. Everything works fine without mods and cc, but I want to keep my mods if possible. I updated important mods that might have caused the problem, and still nothing is working. I decided to look through my other mods to see if they needed updating and I found one that did, but I haven't checked to see if it is working. (I haven't had the time to load up my game, I will check later) Is there a way to fix this while keeping my mods and cc, and not uninstalling The Sims 4? (I would prefer to not uninstall so I don't lose my sims and builds, since I haven't uploaded them all to the gallery and some of them I have played for a while and I would like to keep that game-play and their stories) Sorry if that's a little confusing.
