I cannot place objects in Build/Buy

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.72.28.1230
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except for Bowling Night, Kids Room, Romantic Garden, Movie Hangout, and Luxury Party
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to Build Mode
What happens when the bug occurs? When I click on an item in Build Mode, nothing happens. The object does not come up for me to place it. I have tried this with multiple items such as refrigerators and beds but no matter what I click on, none of the objects show up to be placed. I am able to move objects currently placed but nothing new.
What do you expect to see? I expect to click on an object in Build Mode it should appear and have the ability to be placed.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I noticed this after installing the newest patch that was released on March 23, 2021.

I can't place any objects from Build mode in the game.
