I can't click

I'm sorry in advance for writing a full-on novel but I need help. I cannot click on sims at all and it's making it almost impossible to play. I try to click on sims, and my trackpad acts like there isn't a sim there. But I go to click on an object, and it will sometimes let me and sometimes wont. I do have a plethora of mods and cc but the only thing that could be causing it is the Xureila custom cursor override. It would be extremely helpful if someone could tell me how to fix it or what other possible other mods\cc could be causing it I would be extremely thankful.

    Limeandcrime​  If you have a custom cursor override, please remove it and test.

    If that doesn't help, please disable any apps you use that come with overlays: Discord, Steam, etc.  Disable the EA App in-game overlay as well, under Settings > Application.

    If that doesn't help either, try playing in windowed mode.  If you can't open the options menu, you can edit Options.ini, in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, to set fullscreen to 0 (zero).
