I can't do anything while the Sim is dying, and the elder won't finish dying

Hello, A visitor came to my house, and she died.  The grim reaper won't leave, and I can't travel or save (and exit) until she finishes dying.  I don't want to lose my unsaved data.  Please, help! ...
