Today I was trying to move my Sims 4 mods and tray folder to my laptop. Everything was going well until I turned on the game and the cc wasn't working, then I realized that I need to click the cc and script button. But that wasn't the real problem. My mods and tray folder was deleted because Sims created a new folder. Now I cannot find my other folders! I had 7,857 mods and 1,654 items in my tray folder! Please help me recover my mods and tray folders!
Are my cc permanently deleted?! Because if they are I'm not playing Sims until Sims 5 comes out 😭 I have spent to much money on Sims 4 😭
@SingingHeart39 Please search your computer for the Tray folder. Open a File Explorer window, click This PC in the left panel, and enter Tray in the search field in the upper-right corner of the window. Once the search finishes, expand the window sideways so you can see the full file path for each entry. Then use Windows key-shift-S to capture that window, and post the screenshot here.
Please repeat the process for Mods and post that screenshot too.
